A few miles north of Quito is the Equatorial Monument at latitude 0 00' 00'' which marks the place where an 18th century expedition established the exact geodesic position of the equator. This is a unique opportunity to be in two hemispheres at the same time. Visit the monument and its ethnography museum or the Intinan Museum . Return to Quito.
